The AGM will be held on 17th June 2012 at Saltash Leisure Centre. Further details will follow.
End of Season Gala
The End of Season Gala will take place on Sunday 29th July 2012. This event is for the 12 years and under swimmers in the club. We will have 50m swims on all strokes and the 100IM. Swimmers will be timed and FINA points will be awarded for each swim. The swimmer with the highest number of FINA points in each age group will get medals/trophies as per last year. Training will be cancelled for the evening for the senior swimmers however they are encouraged to come along and lend a hand or support the younger swimmers.

The summer break will be in August again. The last training session will be Sunday 5th August, return back to training Tuesday 28th August. Please note that all members must pay fees for the month of August as the fees are worked out for the year and spread over 12 months to make payment management easier. Please ensure that standing orders are in place for August, if paying by cash or cheque payment must be made by the 5th August.

Summer Barbeque
The summer barbeque will be held on Saturday 4th August. This has become a regular event with great support and we always have a good time. Put the date in your diaries. Further details to follow.
Christmas Break
The last training session before the Christmas break is scheduled for 23rd December 2012 with a return to training on Wednesday 2nd January 2013. There will be our usual end of year fun session which will take place at Saltash on 21st December. We are looking to schedule a number of training sessions over the Christmas period for the senior swimmers if pool time can be secured.
Sponsored Swim over Christmas
As the sponsored "Channel swim" held on the 30th December last year was such a success we are looking to put on a similar event this year. The date is likely to be 29th or 30th December however this is provisional and the theme/goal is yet to be decided. Another date for your diaries as last year was great fun, so you don't want to miss this.
Caradon Swimming Club Kit, Hats, and "Starter Kits"
We are now taking orders for a new range of Club Kit. These will comprise of T-shirts, Polo shirts, and Hoodies which will all feature the new club logo. See here for prices. Caradon Swimming hats may be purchased for £5.00 and we are also selling the "Old Style" Caradon Cobras with the Cobra logo on them for £2.00 each. These "Cobras" hats must only be worn for training and must not be used to represent the club or individuals at galas and events. For the newer members we are still selling the "Starter Kit" which comprises the following: Win Medium Mesh Bag, Win Club kickboard, Win Junior Pullbouy. These items may be purchased seperately. The cost of the "Starter Kit" will be £15.25. We also sell a selection of Swim Fins which can be ordered to suit if not in stock. Please ask a committee member on a training night if you require any of the above.
Membership Contact Details
In order to improve communications the Head Coach Keith Haynes would like to ensure he holds up to date contact details (email/telephone) for parents/guardians of swimmers. This will enable him to communicate training and event information proactively. We will also carry on publishing this information on the club website and club noticeboards so if you do not have email facilities do not worry. Please note if swimmers are under the age of 18 years we must have contact details for the parents/guardians and not the swimmer. If you do wish to update your contact details please use this form.
